Clap it up for coach Mariano and his SABR – Team Boca 2010 Girls NPL team for reaching the finals of Girls U17 Gold Division the Springs Holiday Cup.
SABR – Team Boca played a year up in the U17 Division and Emery Davis scored in the back-and-forth affair before Fort Lauderdale United won the title, 2-1 at Central Broward Regional Park.
“It was a close and hard fought game,” said coach Mariano Gelso. “The girls showed heart and pushed until the end in search of the tie. We meet again in February for first in the league .”

Congratulations to coach Amanda and the SABR – Team Boca 2016 Red team for defeating West Pines United, 3-0, in the U10 Bronze Division final of the Springs Holiday Cup on Sunday.
Maria Christakis, Marina Doria, and Sky Corsello scored in the game, but the star of the tournament was the team’s defense as they didn’t allow a goal in four tournament matches, outscoring the opposition 17-0.
Corsello, Julianna Monzon Brum Dos Santos, Corinne Blumenkranz, and Olivia Gonzalez split time in goal in the final.

The SABR – Team Boca 2008 boys split their first two games, falling to St, Mary’s Soccer 2009 Boys Premier, 2-1 and then rallying for a 3-0 win over Sporting Charlotte Football Club, 3-0.
They close out play on Sunday at 8 a.m. against Columbus United.
The SABR – Team Boca 2009 boys won both games, opening with a 4-2 victory over Lee-Mt. Vernon Sports Club and followed that up with a 5-1 win over River City Football Club.
They end with a 9:50 a.m. game on Sunday against Parsippany SC PSC Academy 2008 Boys NL Premier.
After their matches, the boys toured Duke University and then took in the action in the NCAA D-1 Men’s Soccer semifinals (the College Cup) in WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC (the Raleigh area).
