Congratulations to coach Tyler Cornelio and the Team Boca U15 Boys White team for finishing first in the US Youth National League Southeast Club Premier 1 Division with an 11-0-3 record as they defeated Pinecrest, 3-0, to remain unbeaten.
Team Boca got two goals from Jordan Murillo Moncada, a goal from Alejandro Rivera Ortiz, and a clean sheet from goalkeeper Sam Wasch.
The Boys play in the FYSA State Cup semifinals against Weston Select in the Final Four on May 16 at 11:45 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Park in Auburndale. Should they win the State Cup title, that would qualify them for regionals.
“The U15 white team had an amazing season,” said Cornelio, whose team is also slated to play in the Inter Miami CF Dreams Cup on May 22-25. “To be able to go undefeated is a great achievement, and coaching this team has been a great experience. Looking forward to the state cup semifinal in a couple of weeks and hope to bring this good run of form with us.”

Clap it up for coach Tyler Cornelio and the Team Boca U11 Boys White for finishing at the top of the table in the Pre-ECNL with a 17-0- 1 record as they topped Wellington, 2-1 on Sunday.
Milan Castro scored in the 15th minute and picked up an own goal when a corner kick from Castro deflected off a defender for a 2-0 lead. Wellington scored late to make the game tight.
“It was a great season for the u11white team,” Cornelio said. “To go undefeated was an unbelievable accomplishment. I’m very proud of this group for their hard work and dedication to the season. It’s a pleasure to be able to coach this team.”
They are scheduled to close their season in the Inter Miami CF Dreams Cup on May 22-25.
