Congratulations to Team Boca coach and Team Boca ECNL Director Patrick Baker, who is piloting the USYS 2008 ODP Girls National select team along with former US Women’s National Team great Brandi Chastain in Spain.

The 2008 ODP National Select team dropped its opening match 3-0 to C.D. Castellón, an academy team with players aged 18 to 26.

Baker and Chastain complimented the girls on adapting and growing as the game went on.

The girls are midway through their 10-day tour of Spain, including training and games. They were both gifted jerseys from Villarreal after a tour of the facilities. The US team will return to the US on April 23.

Baker will then be on hand, along with other coaches, at a Team Boca ECNL ID Clinic.

Congrats to Team Boc

Congrats to Team Boca 2007/08G player Natalie Bruno, who represented the Dominican Republic in the 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifier against Haiti on Friday night.

Bruno came on as a halftime substitute and had 31 touches in her action as Haiti and the Dominican Republic played to a 1-1 draw in Group D at Stade Roger Zami in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe.

After a scoreless first half, Haiti opened the scoring in the 67’ when Jennyfer Limage sent a ball over the top for Sherly Jeudy to flick a header into the net. The Dominican Republic equalized in the 73’ as Stella Tapia corralled a header from a Haitian defender and blasted it into the back of the net.

With the draw, Haiti finishes atop Group D with a 3-0-1 record. As a group winner, Haiti also booked its participation in the 2026 Concacaf W Championship. Dominican Republic concluded its campaign in second place of the group with a 2-0-2 record.

Congratulations to the Team Boca Boys U13 White team on their come-from-behind, 2-1 victory over the Florida Legends Football Club on Saturday at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.

Team Boca trailed in its Round of 16 match 1-0 before Christian Vasquez tied the contest, and Lucas Benavides scored the game-winning goal shortly before halftime. The team’s defense did the trick in the second half and punched their ticket to Sunday’s Round of 8 game against Miami Strikers FC at 10:30 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.

The U15 Boys team downed Southern Homestead Soccer Academy, 1-0 in their round of 16 match on a goal by Samuel Gutierrez in the last 10 minutes of the second overtime. Samuel Wasch made two key saves for the clean sheet in the 80 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of double overtime.

Team Boca will face Royal Palm Strikers U15B on Sunday at 8 a.m. in the Round of 8 game.

The U14Boys team fell to the Miami Breakers FC, 2-1, in their Round of 16 match.
