Congratulations to the FAU Men’s Soccer team coaching staff for being named the American Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year. FAU head men’s coach and SABR – Team Boca coach Joey Worthen is joined by Tom Harman, Rob Tomlin and Brad Shore.

The staff guided the Owls to a share of the American Athletic Conference regular season championship, earning the squad a first-round bye in the American Conference tournament and will play either South Florida or Tulsa in the semifinals at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"I have a fantastic staff. Tom, Brad, and Rob do an unbelievable job,” Worthen said. “They are tireless workers. To assemble a team that has performed as it has, from recruiting to game plan and scouting, I am incredibly fortunate to have these individuals on my staff. To know that this award is voted on by our peers, our fellow coaches, is incredibly humbling."

Good luck to coaches Mario Rincon and Lubo Kukov and our SABR – Team Boca 2012G ECNL RL team playing in the ECNL Regional Showcase in the U14 Girls Elite Gold Division this weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The girls will take on two teams ranked in the top 12 in their respective state associations. SABR – Team Boca will open with the Select Select (MA) 2012 squad ranked No. 12 in Massachusetts on Nov. 8 at 9:30 a.m. The girls will follow that up with the Charlotte Soccer Academy 2012 girls at 12:30 p.m. They are ranked No. 1 in the state and both games will be contested at WRAL Soccer Park in Raleigh, NC.

The 2012G ECNL RL girls will play their final bracket game on Nov. 9 at 9:30 a.m. against the Arlington Soccer Association 2012 Girls Wake Stone Athletic Park at Knightdale, NC.
