Congratulations go out to SABR – Team Boca ECNL RL 2007/08G player Natalie Bruno, who was called up to play for the Dominican Republic Women’s youth national team in its CONCACAF Championship qualifier on Tuesday night.
Bruno, a senior midfielder/defender for both club and at Somerset Canyons High School, played all 90 minutes at right back for the Quisqueyanas as they rallied from a 2-goal first-half deficit in the opening five minutes to tie Suriname 2-2 in the 2025/26 CONCACAF women’s qualifier.
Bruno trained with the team for a week and will return home Friday, just in time to head out with the 2007/08 girls who head to Kansas City, MO, for an ECNL Showcase event. The game was played at Estadio Moca 85 in Moca, Dominican Republic.

Macario, who plays striker for Chelsea, scored in the 20th minute and then in the 41st as the US won their fourth straight game. The two teams met on Thursday in Orlando, and the US came out on top in that one, 3-0.

Let’s give a huge shoutout to some of the members of the SABR – Team Boca 2007/08 team who were ball girls for the Inter Miami CF vs. New York City Red Bulls Eastern Conference championship match at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
Pictured from left to right with the USWNT are Alexa Jourdan, Catalina Esteban, Maiya Castillo, Aine McAuley, and Sophia Joachim.
Not only were the girls able to get a photo with US Women’s National team players and coach Emma Hayes, but they were also able to get Inter Miami CF’s Rodrigo Paul to spend a couple of minutes with them.
Inter Miami CF routed New York City, 5-1, and advanced to this Saturday’s 2:30 p.m. MLS Cup Championship match against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Good luck and add another championship to the trophy case.
