Club Advisor and Past Director of SABR Team Boca

In his 22nd year at Team Boca, Bill D’Addio continues to now serve as a club wide consultant in all areas. Bill’s primary role is to oversee our program as an Advisor to our Girls & Boys Directors of Coaching, who now handle the day to day club operations. Bill also continues his role as our Executive Director of our WPSL franchise, the Team Boca Blast, which he was instrumental in bringing to Team Boca and served as General Manager for the first four seasons in the league.

Bill also serves as a Pro Scout and Player Agent of which he has multiple alliances with Pro Intermediaries (Agents) who represent players from multiple Pro leagues & Clubs around the Globe, including Serie A (Italy) English Premier League (England), Bundesliga (Germany), La Liga (Spain), and the Eredivisie (Netherlands), with additional alliances routinely being added. Coach Bill also serves as an Independant Assignment Scout for various Professional teams in the Italian Lega Serie A and Major League Soccer (MLS), as well as College Life Italia and Soccer Management Institute, both located in Rome, Italy.

Under his previous direction/position as our Club Director, Team Boca has had over 350 players move on to play college soccer, 54 teams reach the State Cup Final Four, 23 State Champions, 4 Regional Champions, and 2 National Champions, as well as numerous state, regional, and national tournament championships. In 2021, Team Boca’s four teams qualifying for the National Championship was the most teams by any one club in the country, as well as being the only club in the country to win two National Championships in 2021. Team Boca’s Girls U13 team is also the only U13 team from the State of Florida, Boys or Girls, to ever win a National Championship. In 2011 Team Boca had an unprecedented 41 girls recruited and committed to play college soccer in one season.  Bill has coached several teams over his tenure with Team Boca, including coaching the Girls U18 90/91 team which he led to the State Cup Championship Finals,  Girls U18 Navy 91/92 which he led to the Division 1 President’s Cup State Championship, and the Girls ’91/’92 White team which he coached to three straight State Championship Finals.  Bill was an AAU All-State (Connecticut), All New England, and Second Team All-American High School player, but unfortunately career ending injuries forced an early retirement from the college game.  Coach Bill is a former Trainer at the Southern Connecticut Soccer Academy as well as one of the original Trainers for the Delray Beach Rage Soccer Program.  Bill also served as the head girls varsity coach at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton for six years and was selected Coach of the Year in 2005/06 by both the Boca News and the Palm Beach County Athletic Conference, as well as in his final year (2010) by the Palm Beach Post. During his tenure at Pope he led the Eagles to the Regional tournament every year.  Coach Bill holds USSF and NSCAA National Coaching Licenses.

Besides coaching youth players over the past 40 plus years, Bill D’Addio, Ph.D., brings a very diverse and professional resume to the Team Boca coaching staff and administration. Bill was a Nutritionist for many years licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine, a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Port Charlotte Rangers Professional Baseball Team (Texas Rangers), and the team Nutritionist for the Florida Beach Dogs Professional Basketball team of the CBA.  Bill is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Fitness Instructor and Fitness Director.  He is also a member of the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as a Board Certified member of The American Association of Drugless Practitioners.  Bill was also the original owner and developer of Palm Beach Gym & Fitness Center chain, which he sold in 2004.   Bill now serves as a nationally known author & consultant to the health & fitness industry.  Bill was also the Contributing Expert/Author of a long-standing weekly nutrition column for 50 Plus Lifestyles, a nationally syndicated publication.  He has worked as a Sports, Pediatric, and Adolescent Nutritionist and is licensed as a Certified Guardian Ad-Litem Child Advocate for the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Palm Beach County where he represents children in both the Family and Criminal Court.  Bill is also a Certified Group Counseling Facilitator.  He has received numerous awards of merit and distinction; most notably he is a recipient of the prestigious President’s Council on Physical Fitness Award of Merit from President Bill Clinton for his many years of contribution to the health & fitness industry.  He was also selected to both the Oxford and Cambridge Who’s Who Registry of Outstanding Professionals.

Coach Bill presently serves as the soccer representative on the FAU Athletic Owl Club Board of Directors.  Bill has also formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, the Florida United Girls Soccer Assoc., and the Pope John Paul II High School Board of Directors & Advisory Board.

Mario Rincon

GU19 E64 / GU10 Academy / GU13 E64

Veteran college coach, Mario Rincon, is our Girls Director of Player Development & Supplemental Training, Mario will also coach multiple Girls Elite level teams within our program. Mario led the 08 team to become U13 Florida State Champions, scoring an unprecedented 30 goals in the State Cup Tournament, with Zero (0) goals against. Mario went on to lead them to an undefeated Regional Championship, as well as an undefeated 2021 USYS National Championship!

A former Team Boca player and coach, Mario played for local Pope John Paul High School in Boca Raton, and then the University of Central Florida. Mario subsequently went on to a prestigious 22 year college and pro coaching career beginning at local Lynn University, during which the Knights posted a combined 58-4-0 record, and won the 1998 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer National Championship, the program’s first NCAA title after winning three titles at the NAIA level.

Mario then went on to coach at the professional level with Major League Soccer’s NY/NJ MetroStars (now New York Red Bulls) serving as a team administrator, scout, and coach. After his MLS stint, Mario coached at the University of Miami for one season before accepting the same position at Duke University where he specialized in player recruitment and helped reel in a top 10 recruiting class. From Duke, Mario spent three seasons on the coaching staff at Baylor University in Texas, where he once again brought in a nationally-ranked recruiting class.

After Baylor, Coach Mario joined the staff at Wright State University, where the Raiders posted a combined 23-8-5 record over his two seasons there. From Wright State, he joined the coaching staff at Florida Gulf Coast University, helping his former head coach at Lynn University (and former Team Boca DOC), Jim Blankenship, to start the Eagles Division I Women’s Soccer Program. FGCU posted a 32-16-6 record over Mario’s three seasons with the program.

Mario’s success at FGCU led him to be named to the staff at the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point. There he helped guide Army to two Patriot League titles including an NCAA tournament berth. His success at Army led him to be named to the staff at the University of Arkansas. In his five seasons there he helped earn bids to three NCAA tournaments, coaching the Razorbacks to a program record 18 wins and a #11 national ranking. Coach Mario then returned to his home state of Florida where he was most recently the Coach at St Leo University for two seasons.

Mario holds a BA Degree in Business Administration, and holds a United States Soccer Federation National “A” License, as well as an NSCAA Advanced National License. He has also been on our Florida State ODP Coaching Staff for the past 20 years and is currently the ODP Coach of the Girls ‘01-‘02 team.

Rocky Orezzoli

GU11 White / Girls League Rep

For our 2021/22 season Rocky will serve as our Girls U12 White team coach, as well a Club Trainer and our Girls League Rep. Prior to that for the past 11 seasons, Coach Rocky served as our Girls Director of Coaching. In this his 24th year with Team Boca, Coach Rocky brings vast experience to our girls program. At one time or another Rocky has coached just about every age girl’s team in our program. Coach Rocky was also formerly the Lynn University Women’s Head Coach for ten years. Just the second person ever to hold such a position, Orezzoli assumed control of the LU women’s program in 1998 after serving as an assistant coach the previous five seasons. He produced immediate results, leading the Fighting Knights to the 1998 NCAA Division II National Title and has led Lynn to a very impressive winning record since. Coach Rocky is also be the Head Coach of our WPSL Pro-Am team, the Team Boca Blast, which began competition in the spring of 2012. He has been the Blast Head Coach since inception.

A native of Queens, N.Y. who spent time on Long Island before moving to Florida at an early, age, Orezzoli played his high school soccer at Piper High School in Sunrise before attending Florida Atlantic University where he played four years of soccer. Playing both as a midfielder and defender, Orezzoli became the school’s first-ever four-year letter winner in men’s soccer. A 1989 FAU grad with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Orezzoli then passed the Certified Public Accountant’s examination. Since graduating from FAU, Orezzoli has been involved in women’s soccer at nearly every level. He served as the head girl’s soccer coach at Boca Raton’s St. Andrew’s Prep for six years before taking over the program at Spanish River for five seasons, putting together an impressive 128-14-7 while leading the Sharks. His teams won five district titles and made three Final Four appearances, winning state titles in 1996 and 1997. He earned a number of awards during his stay at Spanish River, earning numerous Coach of the Year honors in the process.

Rocky has a US Soccer Federation National Coaching license and is certainly one of the most experienced and respected coaches in the state.

Gary Curreri

Director of Youth Development / GU09 Academy / GU14 Navy

Gary Curreri returns as the Girls Director of Youth Development (Academy Program). He most recently coached our U18 Navy team to a President’s Cup state championship and qualified for the US Region III Championship in College Station. He is also coaching the U15 Navy team this season.

Gary has also previously coached our U18 Navy team to back-to-back Region A Championships and two President’s Cup appearances where the team finished second and third in the state respectively despite playing a year up in the U19 age divisions. This is his 19th year with Team Boca after previously coaching at Coral Springs Soccer Club for more than 21 years. During his coaching career, his teams have won seven state championships, 18 regional crowns, four President’s Cup titles, and many league and tournament championships. As the Director of Youth Development, his primary responsibility is to oversee the training and development of our Girls U9 through U12 age groups as well as assisting in all levels of training for all ages. Coach Gary has written the coaching curriculum and lesson plans currently being used in SABR and coordinates the end of the season SABR All-Star games for the girls in the U7 through U11 age groups. This year, he is also assisting SABR as our Youth Coordinator helping with practices and the implementation of a training program provided through US Youth Soccer.

Coach Gary began his playing career in Sunrise and also played with the Lauderhill Lions. While at Piper High School, he was a three-year starter, two-year team captain and was named as a second-team all-county selection for both the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel. He was also a standout track athlete and still holds the school record for the mile run (4:27.4, in 1977). He later played in both the Coral Springs Men’s and Gold Coast Soccer League teams before concentrating solely on coaching. He’s also coached at the middle school and high school levels.

Coach Gary holds a USSF National B License, USSF National Youth License, and NSCAA Goalkeeping License. He’s also served as an FYSA state staff coach for the past 28 years, as well as an Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach and an FYSA Staff Coaching Instructor. For more than a decade, Coach Gary has also been one of the lead coaches of the Girls U14 Florida ODP developmental age group teams. A Grade 8 Referee, who has officiated league, President’s Cup and State Cup final four game, he also serves as president and director of “Simply Soccer”, a youth training and development program based in Coral Springs for the past 32 years.

Coach Gary is also a freelance photojournalist for the Sun-Sentinel and has written a monthly soccer column focusing on travel and adult leagues.

Patrick Baker

GU16 E64

Patrick Baker will be returning to our coaching staff as our Girls U18 White team coach. Last season, his U19’s became 3X Fl State Cup State Championship, as well as the USYS National League Tournament Champions, and then went on to win the 2021 USYS National Championship! His U17 team also qualified for the National Championships as well. Coach Baker is now also in his the 6th season as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Florida Atlantic University and was selected the 2018 Season Conference USA Coach of the Year! Patrick will also be a coach and trainer for our High School age Division, as well as serve as our College Recruitment Advisor. He is a nationally renowned college coach, being the only women’s soccer coach in NCAA history to take a team to the Division I, II and III postseason tournaments. He was named the 2003 National Coach of the Year by Soccer America, amassed an 80-46-11 record, and had one team advance to the NCAA Division I Final Four. His teams had 18 wins over ranked opponents, including six victories over top 10 teams.

Five of Baker’s six FSU teams qualified for the NCAA tournament, and the Seminoles made three Sweet 16 appearances and advanced to the 2003 Final Four. He is the only coach in Georgia program history to take three straight teams to the NCAA women’s soccer tournament. His 2007 Bulldogs’ team had the best record in school history (18-4-2) and posted an 8-1-2 mark in SEC play. In 2009, Baker helped guide Georgia to a No. 20 national ranking.

Beyond the college ranks, Coach Baker is a long-standing force in the U.S. National Team programs. He served as the interim head coach for the U-17 National Team after assisting head coach David Smith with the then-newly formed team. He has also assisted U-19 National Team head coach Tracey Leone on numerous occasions at the Arco Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., preparing the team for the inaugural U-19 FIFA World Championships. In 2001, Baker played a crucial role in preparing the U-19 National Team prepare for the Mexican National Team and a European tour in 2001.

He currently serves as a head coach for the Region III girl’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) and was named an assistant coach for the 2000 U-16 Women’s National Team. Baker has attended the South Region ODP camps since 1990, and has amassed 24 years experience at all levels of the ODP. Prior to working with the U-16 team, he assisted head coach Lauren Gregg with the U-21 National Team for three years. He had four years at the U-14 state level in North Carolina and was the 1996 U-17 ODP state coach for Eastern Pennsylvania. Baker coached the U-16 and U-18 ODP South Regional camps for eight years and was the assistant coach for the U-17 South Region team from 1991-93. Baker was also the U.S. South Region amateur coach for the five years where he received the national coach of the year award in 1994. Patrick has also formerly coached in the Region IV Girls Olympic Development Program.

Vinny Gaudio

GU12 White

Coach Vinny returns for his 19th year on Team Boca sidelines. Coach Vinny started his soccer career playing locally for Pope John Paul High School here in Boca Raton. A highly acclaimed striker, he anchored Pope to a State Championship in 1989. After graduating High School he served as an Assistant Coach for Pope John Paul from 1991–1997 while attending college. He then went on to serve as an assistant coach for the Lynn University Fighting Nights from 1997-2000, helping them earn a National Championship in 1998.

Vinny holds a USSF State and National Coaching License and has a BS Degree in Sports and Recreation Management as well as an MBA in Athletic Administration. If you haven’t already done so, please take a minute and introduce yourself to Coach “Vinny Pizza” or “My Cousin Vinny”, as his coaching peers often call him. You’ll quickly learn that Vinny is one of the most approachable and likeable coaches you will ever meet. We are very happy to have Coach Vinny back for his 19th year with Team Boca.

Billy Ramos

GU17 E64 / GU14 E64

Coach Billy will join our staff beginning with the 2022-23 season as our Girls Training Coordinator and also Coach a Girls Elite 64 National League team to be named. Billy comes to us after serving as the Girls Director of Plantation, FC, for the past 17 years. Prior to Planation Billy coached at several south Florida clubs including Weston, Sunrise, and Davie United. Prior to coaching, Billy played college soccer at UCF and Nova Southeastern. Coach Billy holds a USSF National B license and a NSCAA Director of Coaching License.

Marcelo Castillo

GU19 White

A former Team Boca Boys staff coach and FL State Cup winner, Coach Marcelo will now serve as a Trainer on our Girls staff. Coach Marcelo is also currently the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Boca Raton Community High School, where he has served in that position for the past 16 years. He’s led the Bobcats to 3 State Championships, 2 State Finalists, 8 Regional Championships, and 12 District Championships. Such success has garnered him multiple prestigious coaching awards and accolades, including being named Palm Beach County Coach of the Year 10 times, and the FL Diary Farmers State Coach of the Year 3 times. Marcelo has also served as the head coach and GM of the Boca Raton Football Club, which he lead to the American Premier Soccer League Championship in 2015, and a birth into the 2016 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Coach Marcelo has also served as an Asst. Coach and Scout for the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers and Miami FC of the NASL. In the youth coaching ranks, Marcelo’s teams have won 4 FYSA State Cup Championships while working with Team Boca, Coral Springs, and Boca United. Prior to coaching, Marcelo played at Coastal Carolina University and Francis Marion University. Marcelo also played professionally with the New York Rockets and the CSDC Chile Lindo of the NSL and the Toronto Supra of the CNSL. Coach Marcelo holds a USSF National Coaching License, a BFUT Brazilian Coaching License, and a USSF National Referee License.

Lyubomir Kukov

GU12 Navy

Coach Lubo returns in his second year with Team Boca to Coach our Girls U10 Navy team. Originally from Bulgaria, Lubo played for the Bulgarian Juniors National Team from U16 – U19, including playing with FC Septemvri – Sofia, 3X National Juniors Champions, and subsequently with them at the Pro level. Coach Lubo is currently obtaining a USYS National Coaching License.

Cristina Taylor

GU08 Academy

A former Team Boca player, Cristina anchored the defense on a Team Boca team that won 5 State Championships. She was also named to the All Broward and All State High School teams, playing at St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale. Cristina then went on to star at FAU where she earned All Sun Conference team honors. Cristina subsequently went on to play for the Puerto Rican National Team for the CONCACAF Qualifiers in 2004 and 2008, and also played for our Team Boca Blast Semi Pro Team, originally in 2012 and most recently this past 2021 season. Coach Cristina returns for her second year coaching in our Girls Academy Division.

Stuart Barker

Coach Stuart has recently relocated to Florida from the mid west and comes to us with vast player and coaching experience. Originally from England, Stuart played for the Madison 56ers, Totness Town, Madison United, and Blenheim Athletic Club. Stuart subsequently went on to Coaching at well know Region II Clubs – Michigan Hawks and Michigan Wolves, as well as the Madison 56ers and Rush Wisconsin. Coach Stuart was also recently on the Region II ODP Coaching Staff for Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota and holds multiple National USSF Coaching Licenses, including the prestigious National “A” License.

Patrick Rodriguez

Girls Goalkeeper Coach

Welcome Patrick Rodriguez as our new Girls Goal Keeping Coach

Patrick comes to us after coaching at several previous clubs and GK Academies including CS Soccer Academy, Spartaco GK Academy, Lynx Soccer Academy, and FC Prime. He also has vast experience as a GK himself playing professionally starting at the age of 20 at the prestigious Ecuadorian club Barcelona Sporting Club, where he won two national titles. He also then went on to play at INCA in New York and Colo Colo in New York City. Coach Patrick holds NSCAA Level 1,2 & 3 Goal Keeper Licenses.
