Brent Mentz is our new Team Boca Boys GK coach. He was raised and played soccer in Durban, South Africa where he was selected to the South African Youth U16 National team in 1993 as the starting goalkeeper. After a short stint as a Pro at Dundee United in Scotland he returned home to South Africa to play for Amazulu in the South Afrcan Pro League.
He moved to Florida to raise his family, where he played as a semi-pro in the Gold Coast Soccer League with the very successful O’Connels club, winning many accolades.
Both in South Africa and Florida Coach, Brent has always helped with goalkeeping coaching in local clinics and private sessions. Please welcome him to our club whenever you see him on the fields.
