This is Amy's first year with Team
Boca and will be a great addition to our staff. Amy is also the
new Asst. Coach for the Lynn University Women's Soccer team.
Amy comes to Boca Raton after a
stellar playing career as a Goal Keeper at Western Kentucky
University. A four-year letter winner with the Lady Toppers,
Amy finished her career with a 24-10-1 record, 11 shutouts and 142
saves. As a freshman she was named to Soccerbuzz.coms First Year
All-National Team after posting a 14-5 record and a 0.98
goals-against average, also earning Western Kentuckys womens
soccer Team MVP.
Off the pitch, the Louisville, KY
native was named Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2005 and was
a four-year member of the Sun Belt Commissioners List that honored
student-athletes with grade-point averages of 3.5 or better. Coach
Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2005 with a B.S. in Elementary
Education. She previously worked at Natcher Elementary School and
the Sky Soccer Club in Bowling Green, Ky.
Coach Amy will be coaching our Girls U12
Navy Team and we look
forward to her coaching with us for many years to come.
