Team Boca is very excited to announce the addition of Coach
Carrie Terrill to our staff for the upcoming season.
She will be the coach of our Girls U13 White team, as well
as a Staff Trainer. Coach Carrie recently became the new
Women's Asst. Head Coach at Florida Atlantic University
where she replaced long time Team Boca coach, Jim
Blankenship, who has moved on to coach at Florida Gulf Coast University. Before
coming to FAU, Carrie lived in Charleston, SC where she was
the Girls' Director of Coaching for the Charleston United
Soccer Club.
Prior to Charleston United,
Carrie served as an assistant
with the University of Toledo and three years before that at
Charleston Southern University. She has been a state staff
coach for the Olympic Development Program for five years in
South Carolina as well in Ohio, and has recently joined the
staff of our Florida State ODP program. Coach Carrie
has also been involved with coaching club teams for the past
seven years. She holds both an NSCAA Premier Diploma and an
NSCAA Goalkeeping I Diploma.
As a student-athlete, Terrill played for UNC-Charlotte
where she earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors and
twice earned Conference USA All-Conference honors before
transferring to Charleston Southern. As a Buccaneer, she was
named Big South Player of the Year and a member of the
All-Conference team. Terrill also was named her team's Most
Valuable Attacking Player. Carrie also played professionally
for three years in the W-League with the Charlotte Speed.
During her prep career, her accomplishments have allowed her
to remain as one of the leading scorers in North Carolina
history. She also played on the North Carolina State Team
from 1995-1997 and was selected to the Region III Team in
1997.
