Spotlight: Stu Katz
Coach Stu
returns to Team Boca and will be coaching our Girls U15 White team
this season. Stu has been seen locally on the sidelines over the
years coaching at many High School programs including, Miramar,
Northeast, and Boca Raton
High School.
Coach Stu
started his soccer career in Sunrise where he played club soccer for
nine years and played for Piper
High School
along side fellow Team Boca Coach, Rocky Orezzoli. Stu went on to
play for the Florida State University Club team where he served as
captain for his last two years. This summer Stu played as a member
of the
USA Master’s Team in
the 17th Maccabi Games in Israel helping his team earn
a silver medal.
Stu coached the Boys Varsity team at Douglas
High School
for several years and this year switches over to the Girls program
where he will be the head coach. Coach Stu also served as the
head coach for the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC
Maccabi Team.
Coach Stu
holds a USSF National Coaching License.
