Coaching Spotlight:        Jorge Gomez

Born in Colombia, South America, Coach Jorge returns to our sidelines this season to coach our Boys U13 White team after doing a great job coaching both our Boys U13 Navy team and U18 Navy team last season.

Jorge moved to New York at age 15 and later went on to play Goal Keeper for the German Hungarians and New York Ukrainians in the Semi-Pro Cosmopolitan League from 1978 – 1990.  After moving to Florida in 1992 Jorge began his coaching career with the Plantation Eagles where he worked for many years leading several teams to tournament and Regional Championships.

Coach Jorge presently holds a USSF State Coaching License.
