Bill D’Addio

Coach Bill returns as our Club Director &  Girls College Recruitment Director, as well as the Executive Director of our WPSL franchise, the Team Boca Blast, which he was instrumental in bringing to Team Boca and served as General Manager for the first four seasons in the league.  Coach Bill also now serves as an Assignment Scout for various Professional teams in the Italian Lega Serie A and Major League Soccer (MLS).  Under his direction, Team Boca has had over 500 players move on to play college soccer, 42 teams reach the State Cup Final Four, 16 State Championship teams, and numerous state, regional, and national tournament championships.  In 2011 Team Boca had an unprecedented 41 girls recruited and committed to play college soccer in one season.   Bill has coached several teams over his tenure with Team Boca, including coaching the Girls U18 90/91 team which he led to the State Cup Championship Finals,  Girls U18 Navy 91/92 which he led to the Division 1 President's Cup State Championship, and the Girls '91/'92 White team which he coached to three straight State Championship Finals.  Bill was an AAU All-State (Connecticut), All New England, and Second Team All-American High School player, but unfortunately career ending injuries forced an early retirement from the college game.  Coach Bill is a former Trainer at the Southern Connecticut Soccer Academy as well as one of the original Trainers for the Delray Beach Rage Soccer Program.  Bill also served as the head girls varsity coach at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton for six years and was selected Coach of the Year in 2005/06 by both the Boca News and the Palm Beach County Athletic Conference, as well as in his final year (2010) by the Palm Beach Post. During his tenure at Pope he led the Eagles to the Regional tournament every year.  Coach Bill holds a USSF and NSCAA National Coaching License, as well as the National Youth Coaching License.Besides coaching youth players over the past 30 plus years, Bill D’Addio, Ph.D., brings a very diverse and professional resume to the Team Boca coaching staff and administration. Bill was a Nutritionist for many years licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine, a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Port Charlotte Rangers Professional Baseball Team (Texas Rangers), and the team Nutritionist for the Florida Beach Dogs Professional Basketball team of the CBA.  Bill is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Fitness Instructor and Fitness Director.  He is also a member of the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as a Board Certified member of The American Association of Drugless Practitioners.  Bill was also the original owner and developer of Palm Beach Gym & Fitness Center chain, which he sold in 2004.   Bill now serves as a nationally known author & consultant to the health & fitness industry.  Bill was also the Contributing Expert/Author of a long standing weekly nutrition column for 50 Plus Lifestyles, a nationally syndicated publication.  He has worked as a Sports, Pediatric, and Adolescent Nutritionist and is licensed as a Certified Guardian Ad-Litem Child Advocate for the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Palm Beach County where he represents children in both the Family and Criminal Court.  Bill is also a Certified Group Counseling Facilitator.  He has received numerous awards of merit and distinction; most notably he is a recipient of the prestigious President’s Council on Physical Fitness Award of Merit from President Bill Clinton for his many years of contribution to the health & fitness industry.  He was also selected to both the Oxford and Cambridge Who’s Who Registry of Outstanding Professionals.Coach Bill presently serves as the soccer representative on the FAU Athletic Owl Club Board of Directors, as well as on the Advisory Board for the Florida United Girls Soccer Assoc.  Bill also formerly served on the Palm Beach County Sports Commission Board of Directors, as well as the Pope John Paul II High School Board of Directors & Advisory Board.

Rocky Orezzoli

Girls Director of Coaching
Head Coach: Team Boca Blast (WPSL)

Beginning February, 2009, Rocky Orezzoli became our Girls Director of Coaching. In this his 23rd year with Team Boca, Coach Rocky brings vast experience to the newly created position which puts him at the helm of the daily on-field activities of our girls program.  At one time or another Rocky has coached just about every age girl’s team in our program.  Coach Rocky was formerly the Lynn University Women's Head Coach for ten years.  Just the second person ever to hold such a position, Orezzoli assumed control of the LU women’s program in 1998 after serving as an assistant coach the previous five seasons.  He produced immediate results, leading the Fighting Knights to the 1998 NCAA Division II National Title and has led Lynn to a very impressive winning record since.  Besides coaching and training various teams with our program, Coach Rocky will now also be the Head Coach of our new WPSL Pro-Am team, the Team Boca Blast, which will begin competition in the spring of 2012.

A native of Queens, N.Y. who spent time on Long Island before moving to Florida at an early, age, Orezzoli played his high school soccer at Piper High School in Sunrise before attending Florida Atlantic University where he played four years of soccer.  Playing both as a midfielder and defender, Orezzoli became the school’s first-ever four-year letter winner in men’s soccer.  A 1989 FAU grad with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Orezzoli then passed the Certified Public Accountant’s examination.  Since graduating from FAU, Orezzoli has been involved in women’s soccer at nearly every level.  He served as the head girl’s soccer coach at Boca Raton’s St. Andrew’s Prep for six years before taking over the program at Spanish River for five seasons, putting together an impressive 128-14-7 while leading the Sharks.  His teams won five district titles and made three Final Four appearances, winning state titles in 1996 and 1997.  He earned a number of awards during his stay at Spanish River, earning numerous Coach of the Year honors in the process. 

Rocky has a US Soccer Federation National Coaching license and is certainly one of the most experienced and respected coaches in the state.


Gary Curreri

U19 Navy Coach


Gary Curreri returns as the Girls Director of Youth Development (Academy Program). He most recently coached our U18 Navy team to a President’s Cup state championship and qualifed for the US Region III Championship in College Station.
Garty has also previously coached our U18 Navy team to back-to-back Region A Championships and two President’s Cup appearances where the team finished second and third in the state respectively despite playing a year up in the U19 age divisions. This is his 17th year with Team Boca after previously coaching at Coral Springs Soccer Club for more than 21 years. During his coaching career, his teams have won six state championships, 17 regional crowns, three President’s Cup titles and many league and tournament championships. As the Director of Youth Development, his primary responsibility is to oversee the training and development of our Girls U9 through U12 age groups as well as assisting in all levels of training for all ages. Coach Gary has written the coaching curriculum and lesson plans currently being used in SABR and coordinates the end of the season SABR All-Star games for the girls in the U7 through U11 age groups. This year, he is also assisting SABR as our Youth Coordinator helping with practices and the implementation of a training program.
Coach Gary began his playing career in Sunrise and also played with the Lauderhill Lions. While at Piper High School, he was a three-year starter, two-year team captain and was named as a second team all-county selection for both the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel. He was also a standout track athlete and still holds the school record for the mile run (4:27.4, in 1977). He later played in both the Coral Springs Men’s and Gold Coast Soccer League teams before concentrating solely on coaching. He’s also coached at the middle school and high school levels.
Coach Gary holds a U.S.S.F. National License, USSF National Youth License, and NSCAA Goalkeeping License. He’s also served as a FYSA state staff coach for the past 28 years, as well as an Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach and a FYSA Staff Coaching Instructor. For more than a decade, Coach Gary has was also one of the lead coaches of the Girls U14 Florida ODP developmental age group teams. A Grade 8 Referee, who has officiated league, President’s Cup and State Cup final four games, Curreri also serves as president and director of “Simply Soccer”, a youth training and development program based in Coral Springs for the past 30 years.
Coach Gary is also a freelance photojournalist for the Sun-Sentinel and has written a monthly soccer column focusing on travel and adult leagues.

Patrick Baker

U14 & 16 White

We are happy to announce that Patrick Baker will be returning to our coaching staff. Coach Baker is now also in his the 5th season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Florida Atlantic University. Patrick will be a coach and trainer for our High School age Division, as well as serve as our College Recruitment Advisor. Patrick is a nationally renowned college coach, being the only women's soccer coach in NCAA history to take a team to the Division I, II and III postseason tournaments. He was named the 2003 National Coach of the Year by Soccer America, amassed an 80-46-11 record, and had one team advance to the NCAA Division I Final Four. His teams had 18 wins over ranked opponents, including six victories over top 10 teams.

Five of Baker's six FSU teams qualified for the NCAA tournament, and the Seminoles made three Sweet 16 appearances and advanced to the 2003 Final Four. He is the only coach in Georgia program history to take three straight teams to the NCAA women's soccer tournament. His 2007 Bulldogs' team had the best record in school history (18-4-2) and posted an 8-1-2 mark in SEC play. In 2009, Baker helped guide Georgia to a No. 20 national ranking.

Beyond the college ranks, Baker is a long-standing force in the U.S. National Team programs. He served as the interim head coach for the U-17 National Team after assisting head coach David Smith with the then-newly formed team. He has also assisted U-19 National Team head coach Tracey Leone on numerous occasions at the Arco Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., preparing the team for the inaugural U-19 FIFA World Championships. In 2001, Baker played a crucial role in preparing the U-19 National Team prepare for the Mexican National Team and a European tour in 2001.

He served as the head coach for the Region III girl's Olympic Development Program (ODP) and was named an assistant coach for the 2000 U-16 Women's National Team. Baker has attended the South Region ODP camps since 1990, and has amassed 24 years experience at all levels of the ODP. Prior to working with the U-16 team, he assisted head coach Lauren Gregg with the U-21 National Team for three years. He had four years at the U-14 state level in North Carolina and was the 1996 U-17 ODP state coach for Eastern Pennsylvania. Baker coached the U-16 and U-18 ODP South Regional camps for eight years and was the assistant coach for the U-17 South Region team from 1991-93. Baker was also the U.S. South Region amateur coach for the five years where he received the national coach of the year award in 1994.Baker currently represents the Region IV Girls Olympic Development Program and was recently named the '97 age-group coach for 2012-13.

Coach Baker will also serve as a Staff Trainer and College Recruitment Advisor.


Jim Cappello

U15 Navy

Coach Jim Cappello enters his seventh season with Team Boca as our U15 Navy Coach. His first two seasons he coached our Girls U18 Navy team and led them to win the overall President's Cup State Championship in 2011. Jim is also entering his sixth year as head girls varsity coach at Olympic Heights, following a 7 year stint at Park Vista High School.  While at PV Coach Jim was selected Palm Beach County's Central Conference Coach of the Year, while leading the Cobras to seven straight conference titles and two Regional appearance. 







Before returning to Palm Beach County, Cappello oversaw both the men's and women's soccer teams at Webber International University as the Director of Soccer and was the head women's coach. In 2004, his team won the USCAA National Championship with a 3-2 come from behind overtime victory over Southern Virginia University. For that he was selected USCAA National Coach of the Year. He was also the universities Sports Information Director where he served 3 seasons. Prior to WIU, he spent 2 seasons with Warner University. Cappello started the women's program in 1999 and helped led the Royals to a 3rd place conference seeding and a Regional Semifinal appearance in just their second season.  Jim helped produce 21 collegiate players to be selected All-Conference and 10 All Americans.

Jim has dedicated 21 yrs to coaching high school, competitive soccer programs and coaching internationally. He was head girls coach at Lake Wales HS for 11 yrs. To this date, Jim is one of only two Polk County coaches that has been selected as All County "Coach of the Year" twice, in 98-99 and 01-02 as well as, Florida Athletic Coaches Association District 12 "Coach of the Year." Coach Jim also spent time in traveling worldwide coaching US teams to in tournament play in Denmark, Sweden, New Zealand and Australia with People to People Sports Ambassadors. In 1997 he starting his own competitive program, the Lake Wales Blaze FC. that he coached for 7 years.


Vinny Gaudio

Coach Vinny returns for his 18th year on Team Boca sidelines and has coached many different girls teams since 1996.  This season he returns as a Club Trainer as well as coaching our Girls U13 & U14 White teams.

Coach Vinny started his soccer career playing locally for Pope John Paul High School here in Boca Raton.  A highly acclaimed striker, he anchored Pope to a State Championship in 1989.  After graduating High School he served as an Assistant Coach for Pope John Paul from 1991–1997 while attending college. He then went on to serve as an assistant coach for the Lynn University Fighting Nights from 1997-2000, helping them earn a National Championship in 1998. 

Vinny holds a USSF State and National Coaching License and has a BS Degree in Sports and Recreation Management as well as an MBA in Athletic Administration.  If you haven’t already done so, please take a minute and introduce yourself to Coach “Vinny Pizza” or “My Cousin Vinny”, as his coaching peers often call him.  You’ll quickly learn that Vinny is one of the most approachable and likeable coaches you will ever meet.  We are very happy to have Coach Vinny back for his tenth year with Team Boca.


Trevor Pryce

Welcome Coach Trevor back to Team Boca.  We are very happy to have Trevor this season returning as the coach of our Girls U1O Academy & U15 Navy teams, as well as a club trainer for all our age groups.  Trevor will also help coordinate our personal training department as well as serving as a Personal Trainer himself.   Prior to joining Team Boca, Coach Trevor  coached the Winter Springs Soccer Club’s U14 – U17 Girls teams.  He was also a trainer for the Lake Hyland Prep High School Girls Varsity team from 1998-2000.  Prior to that Trevor was a trainer and coach at Central Florida United Soccer Club from 1991 -1998 where he led the U13 – U16 Girls to three Final Four appearances  and one State Championship.

Trevor played In the First Division League in Jamaica as well as the highly competitive Five Borough League in New York.  Trevor is the father of Team Boca Alum Nandi Pryce, who was an All American player at UCLA as well as a member of the US National team.  His son, Trevor Jr, is an All Pro NFL Football player currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens.


Cally Morrill

Welcome back Cally Morrill to our girls Coaching Staff!  Cally will be coaching our Girls U17 White team. Cally coached our Girls U18 team last year to a very successful season taking them to the State Cup Final 8 and graduating all her players on to college soccer.  Cally will also begin her first season as the Head Coach of Lynn University, here in Boca Raton.  Cally comes to Lynn after two very successful seasons as the Head Coach at Lenoir-Ryne University in Hickory, NC.  In her first season at the helm, Lenoir-Rhyne finished at the top of the South Atlantic Conference with a record of 16-2-2, winning both the SAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships.  For her efforts, Cally was named the 2012 South Atlantic Conference Coach Of The Year while eight players earned all-league accolades, six garnered all-region accolades and one was named an honorable mention All-American.

Prior to coaching at L-R Cally spent two seasons as Head Coach at Lees-McRae College (2010-11) in Banner Elk, N.C.  While at the helm of the Bobcats, Cally led Lees-McRae to a 27-11-3 record, including taking the program to new heights in 2011, leading the Bobcats to a school-record 11-1 mark in conference play en route to the program’s first league title since 2000, finishing with an overall record of 13-5-3.  Under Morrill’s leadership, the Bobcats also captured the school’s first-ever conference tournament championship, securing a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.  For her efforts, Morrill was named the Conference Carolinas Coach Of The Year.  Cally is a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she was a four-year starter for the Crimson Tide (2002-05) and was named team captain and earned the squad's Most Valuable Player honors as a senior in 2005. Cally earned a bachelor's degree from Alabama in exercise science and has received her Teaching Licensure from Lenoir-Ryne as well. Cally also recently served as the Head Coach of the 95' girls North Carolina Olympic Development Team and an Assistant Coach for the South Carolina's Women's Semi-Professional team, Central SC Cobras.  Cally will be coaching our Girls U18 White team for the 2014/15 season.

Lauren Reilly

Welcome Lauren Reilly to our Girls Coaching staff! Lauren will now be our Girls Strength & Conditioning coach responsible for strength, conditioning, speed, and agility training for all our Girls teams and will also serve as an Asst. Coach for our Team Boca Blast WPSL team. Lauren is also available for one-to-one Personal Trainer for all Team Boca players. Lauren is a Team Boca alum from U10 through U18, having been coached by our own Team Boca Director, Bill D'Addio, from U10 - U13, as well as our Girls Director of Coaching, Rocky Orezzoli, at U15.

Lauren attended hometown St. Andrews High School where she earned First Team All-County honors. She then attended Division 1 Fairfield University in Connecticut where she served as Team Captain and was named 3 times to the All- MAAC & NSCAA All Northeastern Region Teams. Following her graduation from Fairfield, Lauren played for the Boston Breakers Reserves Team and the New England Mutiny of the WPSL.

She later went on to play professionally with First Division Team, Hovas Billdal in Goteborg, Sweden. Lauren most recently served as a Soccer Performance Coach & the Director of Business Development for Beast Mode Soccer, a Los Angeles, California, State-of-the-Art Soccer Performance Training Center. While in California, she also served as the Head Coach of the Westside Breakers Girls U13’s. Lauren is also a Strength & Conditioning personal trainer at Impact Sports Performance Center here in Boca Raton, who is also our main Corporate Sponsor of Team Boca. Lauren holds a USSF National Coaching License and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

Katie Talbert

Welcome Katie Talbert back to our Girls Coaching Staff for her second year! Katie came to us after a ten year stint as the head coach at Queens University in Charlotte, N.C. Katie led Queens to the conference tournament championship final, two conference tournament quarterfinal appearances, and their first ever NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship appearance. Prior to Queens, Katie served as the head coach at Averett University and led them to their best season in program history.

Katie played college soccer at Pfeiffer University where she helped lead the Falcons to a 10-1 record and a first place finish. While at Averett University, Katie completed her master’s degree in education and is currently studying for her Ph.D. Katie has also coached with the Charlotte United Fútbol Club, served as their College Recruitment Coordinator, and is on the North Carolina ODP staff. Katie has also served multiple years on the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Advisory committee.

Katie will serve as our Girls U12 White Team Coach, Girls Youth Academy trainer, and Girls College Recruitment Coordinator assisting our Club Director with all aspects of our College Recruitment Program.


Nicole DiPerna

Welcome Nicole DiPerna to our Girls Coaching Staff. Nicole most recently coached for the Royal Knights Soccer Club and West Broward High School as their JV Head Coach. As a former player, Nicole won a State Championship playing for Space Coast Storm and two State Championships and one National Title at Melbourne High School. Nicole then went on to play collegiately at FIU where she was a two time All-Conference player and the MVP of the conference tournament. Nicole currently plays semi-pro for our Team Boca Blast WPSL team. She will be coaching our Girls U11 Navy team.










Kristy Whelchel Hartofilis

Welcome back Kristy Whelchel Hartofilis to our Girls Coaching Staff! Kristy is a Team Boca alum who grew up in our program winning multiple state and regional championships, which included a national championship appearance in 1994. Kristy garnered numerous accolades as a youth player including the Natl Soccer Coaches Assoc All America Selection, and was selected Sun Sentinel, Boca Raton News, & Palm Beach Post High School Player of The Year while leading Spanish River High School to its first Final Four State Championship appearance. Kristy was also selected to the Under 19/20 US National team where she was the starting midfielder traveling to Sweden, Denmark, and Holland, including winning the Nordic Cup Championship in 1997. Kristy then battended Duke University and was their starting midfielder from 1995 - 1998. At Duke, she was selected two years to the NSCAA ACC 2nd team and then two years to the ACC 1st team, as well as the NSCAA All Southwest Region team (3 years), ACC 50th Anniversary team, and the NSCAA All - American team in 1996. She was also the fist Duke female soccer player to earn All - ACC Honors all four years! Kristy was then drafted in the WUSA professional league in the third round with the 20th overall pick by the New York Power, where she started every game her first two years. Kristy then went on to play for the Raleigh Wings of the USISL W- League where she won the National Championship with an undefeated season in 1999. Kristy then went on to coach at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton, where she led her team to the State Championship with a record of 20-3-2, and was named the Boca News & Palm Beach Post Coach of the year! In 2016, Kristy was inducted into the Palm Beach County Hall of Fame! We are extremely happy to have Kristy back on staff coaching in our U10 Academy!

Laura Jackson

Welcome Laura Jackson to our Girls Coaching Staff!
Laura will be coaching our Girls U11 White team. In addition to coaching with us here at Team Boca, Laura also serves as an Asst. Coach for our hometown FAU Owls. She comes to Boca Raton most recently from the University of Idaho, where she spent the last four seasons on their coaching staff. Laura helped to lead the Vandals to back-to-back Big Sky regular season titles the last two years, which included an undefeated conference mark in 2015. Laura began her collegiate playing career at Syracuse and finished it at Iona, where she was twice named All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and was team captain and a MAAC All-Tournament team member in 2012. She also coached at Iona before making the move to Idaho, and has experience with coaching both goalkeepers and field players. In 2016, she gained entry into the NSCAA’s prestigious “30 Under 30” program, identifying the top young college soccer coaches nationwide. Prior to her collegiate playing career, Laura was a member of the Watford club team in the English Premier League, as well as part of the Arsenal Youth Academy. In addition to her college coaching experience, she has also coached club soccer with Moscow United/Quad City Fusion and Idaho Elite Soccer Academy.

Welcome Alex Greco to our Coaching Staff! Alex is a home grown local talent who played for us for many years at Team Boca, including winning a State and Regional Championship here with us before moving on to play in college at Northwood University. Alex was also recently named the Women's Asst. Coach at Lynn University. where he will be be responsible for recruiting, in-game strategies, team travel and academics. Prior to Lynn he enjoyed a a one-year stint as the assistant women’s soccer coach at Spring Hill College. Prior to his time at SHC, Alex served as an Asst. Coach at Indiana University and UNC Greensboro. Alex has also previously coached at local Cardinal Gibbons High School. We are very happy to add Alex to our Coaching staff as our Girls U15 White team coach!
