Beginning February, 2009, Rocky Orezzoli became our Girls Director of Coaching. In this his 22nd year with Team Boca, Coach Rocky brings vast experience to the newly created position which puts him at the helm of the daily on-field activities of our girls program. At one time or another Rocky has coached just about every age girl’s team in our program. Coach Rocky was formerly the Lynn University Women's Head Coach for ten years. Just the second person ever to hold such a position, Orezzoli assumed control of the LU women’s program in 1998 after serving as an assistant coach the previous five seasons. He produced immediate results, leading the Fighting Knights to the 1998 NCAA Division II National Title and has led Lynn to a very impressive winning record since. Besides coaching and training various teams with our program, Coach Rocky will now also be the Head Coach of our new WPSL Pro-Am team, the Team Boca Blast, which will begin competition in the spring of 2012.
A native of Queens, N.Y. who spent time on Long Island before moving to Florida at an early, age, Orezzoli played his high school soccer at Piper High School in Sunrise before attending Florida Atlantic University where he played four years of soccer. Playing both as a midfielder and defender, Orezzoli became the school’s first-ever four-year letter winner in men’s soccer. A 1989 FAU grad with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Orezzoli then passed the Certified Public Accountant’s examination. Since graduating from FAU, Orezzoli has been involved in women’s soccer at nearly every level. He served as the head girl’s soccer coach at Boca Raton’s St. Andrew’s Prep for six years before taking over the program at Spanish River for five seasons, putting together an impressive 128-14-7 while leading the Sharks. His teams won five district titles and made three Final Four appearances, winning state titles in 1996 and 1997. He earned a number of awards during his stay at Spanish River, earning numerous Coach of the Year honors in the process.
Rocky has a US Soccer Federation National Coaching license and is certainly one of the most experienced and respected coaches in the state.

We are happy to announce that Patrick Baker will be returning to our coaching staff. Coach Baker is now also in his the 3rd season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Florida Atlantic University. Patrick will be a coach and trainer for our High School age Division, as well as serve as our College Recruitment Advisor. Patrick is a nationally renowned college coach, being the only women's soccer coach in NCAA history to take a team to the Division I, II and III postseason tournaments. He was named the 2003 National Coach of the Year by Soccer America, amassed an 80-46-11 record, and had one team advance to the NCAA Division I Final Four. His teams had 18 wins over ranked opponents, including six victories over top 10 teams.

Five of Baker's six FSU teams qualified for the NCAA tournament, and the Seminoles made three Sweet 16 appearances and advanced to the 2003 Final Four. He is the only coach in Georgia program history to take three straight teams to the NCAA women's soccer tournament. His 2007 Bulldogs' team had the best record in school history (18-4-2) and posted an 8-1-2 mark in SEC play. In 2009, Baker helped guide Georgia to a No. 20 national ranking.
Beyond the college ranks, Baker is a long-standing force in the U.S. National Team programs. He served as the interim head coach for the U-17 National Team after assisting head coach David Smith with the then-newly formed team. He has also assisted U-19 National Team head coach Tracey Leone on numerous occasions at the Arco Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., preparing the team for the inaugural U-19 FIFA World Championships. In 2001, Baker played a crucial role in preparing the U-19 National Team prepare for the Mexican National Team and a European tour in 2001.
He served as the head coach for the Region III girl's Olympic Development Program (ODP) and was named an assistant coach for the 2000 U-16 Women's National Team. Baker has attended the South Region ODP camps since 1990, and has amassed 24 years experience at all levels of the ODP. Prior to working with the U-16 team, he assisted head coach Lauren Gregg with the U-21 National Team for three years. He had four years at the U-14 state level in North Carolina and was the 1996 U-17 ODP state coach for Eastern Pennsylvania. Baker coached the U-16 and U-18 ODP South Regional camps for eight years and was the assistant coach for the U-17 South Region team from 1991-93. Baker was also the U.S. South Region amateur coach for the five years where he received the national coach of the year award in 1994.Baker currently represents the Region IV Girls Olympic Development Program and was recently named the '97 age-group coach for 2012-13.
Coach Baker will also serve as a Staff Trainer and College Recruitment Advisor.
2017 will be Coach Michael's fourth season with Team Boca and will be the coach of our Girls U17 team as well as serving as a staff trainer. Michael is also the Asst. Coach at Florida Atlantic University. Prior to FAU, Michael was the interim head coach at the University of Cincinnati and the Asst. Coach at Duke University, South Alabama, and Clemson. Coach Michael has also been the Director of the SoccerPlus Goalkeeper school in Hartford, Ct, working closely with former US National team coach, Tony Dicicco. Formerly a Goal keeper himself, Michael lead the University of Indianapolis to two NCAA tournament appearances and tied the school record for most shutouts in a season. He then moved on to the University of Akron where they won the Mid-American Conference regular season and tournament championships in 2005. Coach Michael holds a national coaching license from both the US Soccer federation and the NSCAA.
Welcome back Jordan Reppell to our Coaching staff! Jordan was a four-year letter winner for the Missouri State University soccer team, where she started and played in all but one game on defense for the Bears from 2007-2010. During her career at MSU, she accumulated numerous awards, including being named to the NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-Great Lakes Region First Team, a three-time Missouri Valley Conference First-Team All-Conference member, the MVC Defensive Player of the Year, a MVC All-Tournament Team member and the MVC All-Freshman Team. She also excelled academically. She was a two-time MVC Scholar-Athlete First-Team member and a CoSida/ESPN Academic All-District VII Second Team member. In her senior season with the Bears, Reppell lead the defense to eight shutouts and a team goals against average of 0.96.
Jordan also presently serves as Asst. Coach and recruiting Coordinator at Florida Atlantic University. Prior to FAU Jordan served as Asst. Coach at Nova Southeastern University and and Assistant Coach for MSU prior to Nova. Jordan also coached various youth club teams in Missouri.
Jordan will be coaching our Girls U13 White team and will also serve as a Staff Trainer.
Before returning to Palm Beach County, Cappello oversaw both the men's and women's soccer teams at Webber International University as the Director of Soccer and was the head women's coach. In 2004, his team won the USCAA National Championship with a 3-2 come from behind overtime victory over Southern Virginia University. For that he was selected USCAA National Coach of the Year. He was also the universities Sports Information Director where he served 3 seasons. Prior to WIU, he spent 2 seasons with Warner University. Cappello started the women's program in 1999 and helped led the Royals to a 3rd place conference seeding and a Regional Semifinal appearance in just their second season. Jim helped produce 21 collegiate players to be selected All-Conference and 10 All Americans.
Jim has dedicated 21 yrs to coaching high school, competitive soccer programs and coaching internationally. He was head girls coach at Lake Wales HS for 11 yrs. To this date, Jim is one of only two Polk County coaches that has been selected as All County "Coach of the Year" twice, in 98-99 and 01-02 as well as, Florida Athletic Coaches Association District 12 "Coach of the Year." Coach Jim also spent time in traveling worldwide coaching US teams to in tournament play in Denmark, Sweden, New Zealand and Australia with People to People Sports Ambassadors. In 1997 he starting his own competitive program, the Lake Wales Blaze FC. that he coached for 7 years.
Team Travel Coordinator
Coach Stu is starting his 11th year with Team Boca and has recently relocated to North Carolina where he will be continue to be a High School teacher as well as a staff coach with Greensboro United Soccer Club. However, Stu will still remain on our staff as our Team Travel Coordinator and Team Chaperon for our teams that travel out of state for Showcase tournaments. Stu will coordinate all travel as well as arrange and coordinate our college visits. Stu has been seen locally on the sidelines over the years coaching at many High School programs including, Miramar, Northeast, and Boca Raton High School. Coach Stu is also our Team Boca Team Travel Coordinator.
Coach Stu started his soccer career in Sunrise where he played club soccer for nine years and played for Piper High School along side fellow Team Boca Coach, Rocky Orezzoli. Stu went on to play for the Florida State University Club team where he served as captain for his last two years. In 2005, Stu played as a member of the USA Master’s Team in the 17th Maccabiah Games in Israel helping his team earn a silver medal. In 2007, Coach Stu served as the Head Coach for the USA Master’s Team in the Pan AM Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Coach Stu has also volunteered his time over the years as the Head Coach for the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC Maccabi Boys’ and Girls’ Teams.
Stu coached the Boys’ Varsity team at Douglas High School for nine years before switching to the Girls’ program where he has led them to Final Four appearances in 2009 and 2011. Coach Stu has been honored as the High School Coach of the Year for both Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer. Coach Stu also serves as the Director of Soccer for 6 Points Sports Summer Camp in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Coach Stu holds a USSF National Coaching License.
Coach Vinny returns for his 16th year on Team Boca sidelines and has coached many different girls teams since 1996. This season he returns as a Club Trainer as well as coaching our Girls U10 Academy and U12 White teams.
Coach Vinny started his soccer career playing locally for Pope John Paul High School here in Boca Raton. A highly acclaimed striker, he anchored Pope to a State Championship in 1989. After graduating High School he served as an Assistant Coach for Pope John Paul from 1991–1997 while attending college. He then went on to serve as an assistant coach for the Lynn University Fighting Nights from 1997-2000, helping them earn a National Championship in 1998. This season he returned once again to the Lynn University sideline as assistant coach.
Vinny holds a USSF State and National Coaching License and has a BS Degree in Sports and Recreation Management as well as an MBA in Athletic Administration. If you haven’t already done so, please take a minute and introduce yourself to Coach “Vinny Pizza” or “My Cousin Vinny”, as his coaching peers often call him. You’ll quickly learn that Vinny is one of the most approachable and likeable coaches you will ever meet. We are very happy to have Coach Vinny back for his tenth year with Team Boca.
Welcome Coach Trevor back to Team Boca. We are very happy to have Trevor this season returning as the coach of our Girls U11Navy & U14 Navy teams, as well as a club trainer for all our age groups. Trevor will also help coordinate our personal training department as well as serving as a Personal Trainer himself. Prior to joining Team Boca, Coach Trevor coached the Winter Springs Soccer Club’s U14 – U17 Girls teams. He was also a trainer for the Lake Hyland Prep High School Girls Varsity team from 1998-2000. Prior to that Trevor was a trainer and coach at Central Florida United Soccer Club from 1991 -1998 where he led the U13 – U16 Girls to three Final Four appearances and one State Championship.
Trevor played In the First Division League in Jamaica as well as the highly competitive Five Borough League in New York. Trevor is the father of Team Boca Alum Nandi Pryce, who was an All American player at UCLA as well as a member of the US National team. His son, Trevor Jr, is an All Pro NFL Football player currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens.
Jerry will be coaching our Girls U11 White team for our 2015-2016 season.
Coach Jerry grew up in South Florida playing for one of the original youth soccer programs in Key Biscayne. Jerry was a member of the Coral Gables Senior High School State Championship team and then played 2 years at Florida Bible College and 2 years of Club soccer at Florida Atlantic University. Coach Jerry went on to play in the top division of the Florida Gold Coast league.
Jerry has coached many teams in South Florida since 1975 including our State Champion, Region III Champion & National Final Four Team Boca 92/93 team in their early youth years up to U13. Coach Jerry has also coached at Boca United, Coral Springs Renegades, Weston FC and Coral Springs High School, including 2 state Championships with U-18 and U-19 Boys Coral Springs Renegades. Coach Jerry holds a USSF National coaching license.
Saulo Martinez returns for his sescond season on our coaching staff. Saulo comes to us having local roots, as he attended Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton where he was a local standout. Saulo subsequently went on to play at Greensboro College in North Carolina, where he was selected for multiple Dixie Conference Player of the Week honors, as well as their MVP for the 1984 season. He was also the first Greensboro College player ever to be selected to the D III All-South Region - All America Team in 1985. Saulo coached for the local Greensboro Youth Club, as well as being a staff coach at Old Dominion University summer soccer program. After his playing career, Saulo went on to work two years in the front office of the Miami Fusion. Saulo will be coaching our U12 Navy team for the 2015/16 season.
H. B. Lockwood
Girls Goals Keeper Coach
Welcome H.B. Lockwood to our girls coaching staff! HB will be our Girls Goal Keeper Coach for our 2015/16season. HB is also in his second year as Lynn University’s assistant women’s soccer coach, where it its his second stint with head coach Cally Morrill (also a Team Boca staff Coach) having served as her assistant at Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. An accomplished goal keeper coach, he will also be responsible for recruiting, in-game strategies, team travel and academics for the Fighting Knights.
HB joined Lenoir-Rhyne in the spring of 2013, serving as the assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer programs. Under his guidance, the women’s side posted a goals-against average under 1.00 while the men’s team had their first winning season since 2010.
During his playing days, Coach HB was a Goal Keeper and two-year captain at Limestone College (2010 & 2011), where went 20-10-1 with six shutouts and a 1.67 GAA. In addition to his time with Limestone, Lockwood played in the USL PDL for three seasons, including two with the Northern Virginia Royals and one with the Vermont Voltage, where he was named to the PDL Team of the Week in June of 2011.
Besides his coaching experience with Lenoir-Rhyne and Anderson College, Lockwood has previously coached with the South Carolina Olympic Development Program, assisting with the 1998 boy’s squad, at T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, S.C., Carolina Elite Soccer Academy and for the Vermont Voltage Soccer Club.
Welcome back Cally Morrill to our girls Coaching Staff! Cally will be coaching our Girls U17 White team. Cally coached our Girls U18 team last year to a very successful season taking them to the State Cup Final 8 and graduating all her players on to college soccer. Cally will also begin her first season as the Head Coach of Lynn University, here in Boca Raton. Cally comes to Lynn after two very successful seasons as the Head Coach at Lenoir-Ryne University in Hickory, NC. In her first season at the helm, Lenoir-Rhyne finished at the top of the South Atlantic Conference with a record of 16-2-2, winning both the SAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships. For her efforts, Cally was named the 2012 South Atlantic Conference Coach Of The Year while eight players earned all-league accolades, six garnered all-region accolades and one was named an honorable mention All-American.
Prior to coaching at L-R Cally spent two seasons as Head Coach at Lees-McRae College (2010-11) in Banner Elk, N.C. While at the helm of the Bobcats, Cally led Lees-McRae to a 27-11-3 record, including taking the program to new heights in 2011, leading the Bobcats to a school-record 11-1 mark in conference play en route to the program’s first league title since 2000, finishing with an overall record of 13-5-3. Under Morrill’s leadership, the Bobcats also captured the school’s first-ever conference tournament championship, securing a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. For her efforts, Morrill was named the Conference Carolinas Coach Of The Year. Cally is a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she was a four-year starter for the Crimson Tide (2002-05) and was named team captain and earned the squad's Most Valuable Player honors as a senior in 2005. Cally earned a bachelor's degree from Alabama in exercise science and has received her Teaching Licensure from Lenoir-Ryne as well. Cally also recently served as the Head Coach of the 95' girls North Carolina Olympic Development Team and an Assistant Coach for the South Carolina's Women's Semi-Professional team, Central SC Cobras. Cally will be coaching our Girls U18 White team for the 2014/15 season.
Welcome back Keith Masi to our Girls Coaching Staff
Coach Keith has been coaching youth soccer since 1997 throughout various youth clubs in S. Fl, most recently the Wellington Soccer Club. Keith holds a USSF National Coaching License, U.S. Soccer National Youth License, and AYSO Advanced Coaching Certification. In addition to his coaching certifications, Keith has been a Florida State Referee since 2010. Keith will be coaching in our U9 Academy age groups and our U12 Red team. Coach also serves on our WPSL Team Boca Blast staff.

Welcome Lauren Reilly to our Girls Coaching staff! Lauren will now be our Girls Strength & Conditioning coach responsible for strength, conditioning, speed, and agility training for all our Girls teams and will also serve as an Asst. Coach for our Team Boca Blast WPSL team. Lauren is also available for one-to-one Personal Trainer for all Team Boca players. Lauren is a Team Boca alum from U10 through U18, having been coached by our own Team Boca Director, Bill D'Addio, from U10 - U13, as well as our Girls Director of Coaching, Rocky Orezzoli, at U15.
Lauren attended hometown St. Andrews High School where she earned First Team All-County honors. She then attended Division 1 Fairfield University in Connecticut where she served as Team Captain and was named 3 times to the All- MAAC & NSCAA All Northeastern Region Teams. Following her graduation from Fairfield, Lauren played for the Boston Breakers Reserves Team and the New England Mutiny of the WPSL.
She later went on to play professionally with First Division Team, Hovas Billdal in Goteborg, Sweden. Lauren most recently served as a Soccer Performance Coach & the Director of Business Development for Beast Mode Soccer, a Los Angeles, California, State-of-the-Art Soccer Performance Training Center. While in California, she also served as the Head Coach of the Westside Breakers Girls U13’s. Lauren is also a Strength & Conditioning personal trainer at Impact Sports Performance Center here in Boca Raton, who is also our main Corporate Sponsor of Team Boca. Lauren holds a USSF National Coaching License and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

Welcome Katie Talbert to our Girls Coaching Staff! Katie comes to us after a ten year stint as the head coach at Queens University in Charlotte, N.C. Katie led Queens to the conference tournament championship final, two conference tournament quarterfinal appearances, and their first ever NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship appearance. Prior to Queens, Katie served as the head coach at Averett University and led them to their best season in program history.
Katie played college soccer at Pfeiffer University where she helped lead the Falcons to a 10-1 record and a first place finish. While at Averett University, Katie completed her master’s degree in education and is currently studying for her Ph.D. Katie has also coached with the Charlotte United Fútbol Club, served as their College Recruitment Coordinator, and is on the North Carolina ODP staff. Katie has also served multiple years on the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Advisory committee.
We are very happy to add Katie Talbert to our Coaching Staff! She will serve as our Girls U17 White Team Coach, Girls Youth Academy trainer, and Girls College Recruitment Coordinator assisting our Club Director with all aspects of our College Recruitment Program.
